The electric car fever is running through the world

the-electric-car-fever-is-running-through-the-world Electric Vehicles are expected to attain a boon in the automobile market. Many electric vehicles, plug-ins and hybrids are to be launched by the end of this year.
Nissan Leaf, an electric car, is speculated to catch up with the market slowly. The car is one among the most expected launches as it is this company’s first battery operated car. Surveys and reports say that people would never make electric car as their first choice but will eventually give in if they find it to be more user-friendly than its counterparts.
Another issue that dampens the growth of these electric cars is the range anxiety. Only Tesla Roadster provides a range of 200 miles, except that almost all of the impending battery cars offer only100 miles range. In spite of the fact that people drive less than 100 miles per day the range anxiety prevails.
It is also expected that Chevy Volt will have good sales compared to its other counterparts. The Volt has come up with a smart idea of presenting a gas engine along with the car to facilitate electricity production. Fisker Karma is another plug-in hybrid to look out for as it offers high performance and Toyota is gearing up to launch a developed version of the Prius.
Several Chinese automakers, including Chery and BYD are also in this race. Though it is well known that China cars are not 100% reliable, pricing would be the advantage for it.
Fuel-cell vehicles are also in the pipeline. Honda FCX Clarity and the hydrogen-powered Chevy Equinox are fast and have a good range that surpasses all other electric cars. But these cars are expensive and lacks in fuel station.
Electric cars are a good trend as they are eco-friendly and can contribute to ecological sustainability. People would give a second thought provided some aspects like electric charging facility are made easy
