FedEx and Enterprise on quest of electrical vehicles
Enterprise Holdings is one of those companies that own the most cars in the country, and you should know about it that it is trying to buy as many electrical cars as possible. At the moment they are said to have 80 electrical vehicles but by the end of the year they are planning to own several hundreds of them.
It is great to see that the largest companies of the world are going green and they are supporting the use of EVs (electric vehicles). There are some governmental programs for the purchase of such cars, but the representatives of the company claimed that they are going to continue the purchase of such cars with or without the help of the government.
The representatives of the company also claimed that they don’t care about the tax incentives offered by the government. Even though they might not make big money this year because of the EVs, they will eventually, and they are going to support green traffic no matter what.
It is a known fact that the country is threatened by the possibility of not having oil. It is known that FedEx burns about 1.5 billion gallons a year of petroleum fuels in order to make their trucks and planes work.
Although some of the people might not be totally green, they still support the use of EVs because this way it would be possible to reduce the oil import of the country. Another advantage of the EVs is that they are a lot more fun to drive than the traditional cars.
Numerous people say that these are just like little golf carts. This isn’t entirely true, and another great thing about the electric cars is that they cost about 70%-80% less per mile to operate, depending on the gasoline prices.
